Anyways, Last Saturday, April, Marisa, Amanda, Lance and I went to the Renaissance Faire up in Fishers, Indiana. We had a blast. Well, overstatement... I had a blast, everyone else was miserable because it was rainy and cold; I said "period be damned" and used my umbrella. We looked at all the shops, bought some perfume, tried some wine, and I watched the Battle Royale at the end of the day. A quick overview:
*-*I fell for the Fool. S/he was awesome. I couldn't tell the sex, but Amanda said the fools were supposed to be androgynous. Ha.
*-*A man gave me a rose. I lost it.
*-* I gave up being a vegetarian for the day and ate me some turkey. I had a giant turkey leg!! It was delicious. I'm not quite sure how I fit it into my corset, but I did.
*-* Marisa, April and I had a free spiritual reading done. It was pretty cool. I was happy that day, and I was all excited about the ren faire and the spiritual reading, and the lady looks at me and says, "You have a great sadness in your eyes, and I can see that it's been a very difficult time for you. But I pray that the Creator will shine light on your path." I was like, oh wow, that's cool, but dammit! I was trying to look happy! Rar.
